I don't know what that means (dancing elephants). But in this setting I like to think that it means too fool ourselves. Elephants can't dance, but do we really know they can't? There could be a elephant out there in the big, wild world who is a hell of a dancer.
Most elephants can't dance, nevertheless we still say so. Like i said I think it means too fool ourselves. Keep on dancing, but knowing we suck. Or maybe it means we should keep on trying. No matter what comes in our way.
This leaves me with the thought: What should we expect? Form others, for our family, from our friends, from life, and ourselves?
If you were an elephant who loved to dance. But as MOST elephants, you only made a fool out of yourself. What is it for you to do? Keep on, raise your head high and listen to all the shitty gossip, and face all the laughing faces? Or should keep your pride, and stop? One thing is clear, if certain peoples had not swelled their prides, the world wouldn't be nothing like what it is today. On the other hand, what could the world be if more peoples had ignored every body else`?
Are we all just dancing elephant, fooling ourself? Saying we don't care what other peoples think of us. keep dancing. But regret afterwards when you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation...
And then again, Expectations.
What is the balance of expectations? Should we all try to become Gandhi, or your favorite movie star ? Or just be please with a OKEY life? Goosh, I wish I knew if we only lived once. If we do, we should get all we can. Or I will try. but will that make me one of those elephants?
'Something I can do for now, is to write that English homework I'm supposed to do.
Loves!
